Ensino de língua e cultura croata
The book “Croatia para tod@s” is the realization of a project that was born from the need to present the language and culture of Croatia to Brazilians of Croatian descent and language students, to promote greater integration between the peoples of the two countries.
Design editorial
The publication presents an editorial proposal with a design inspired by the visual language of the avant-garde artistic group “Zenit” and its greatest exponent, Mihailo Petrov, with his geometric shapes in contrasting colors, typology and drawings with strong lines.
Character Design
The character design also drew on Croatian artistic references, such as sculptures by “Ivan Mestrovic”, as well as animations “Sugorat (The Substitute)” and “Profesor Baltazar”, by Zlatko Grgić, from the 60s, where the stylization of the form defined a modern and current look.
For this project, a team of characters was created, introducing Ana as the protagonist of the story and her friends, Xico, the teacher, her nice grandmother, and a very cool old man, leader of the local Croatian community.
Illustrations
The illustrations are presented in the form of comics, bringing the journey of the character Ana and her friends into an immersive experience in Croatian culture.
